There
is only one Perfect Gift! It will give more happiness than any
other gift and is suitable to every age.
This gift is the very
reason that Christmas is celebrated. It is the very Son of God
Himself -- Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
If you have never received
this Perfect Gift, please spend a few moments in your busy day
to consider:

God gave this gift out
of pure love. It was the most costly gift ever given; he
gave His own Son. "For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son." -- John 3:16

God offers this gift to
you freely. You cannot buy peace with God. Neither can you
earn it through religious activity, church membership,
baptism, or good works. It is a gift! "For by grace are
ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
the gift of God." -- Ephesians 2:8

This gift can be yours
today, but you must receive it. A package left unclaimed and
unopened is of no benefit to anyone, no matter how valuable
the gift may be, or how much love it represents on the part
of the giver. So it is with the Perfect Gift. It is true
that God gave His Son to die for you to save you from your
sins. God has made a wonderful promise to you. It is in John
1:12: "As many as receive Him (Jesus) to them, God
gives the power (right) to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on His Name."
Then you
can say, "Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable
Gift." -- II Chor. 9:15
